This was the scene in Coniston outside our offices as several "Native Americans " with "cowboys & girls" in hot pursute, invaded Coniston late into the evening !

23/12/2004 - The Coppermines Mountain Cottages - bathroom refurbishments now complete !
 The new en - suite shower room in The Sawyers Cottage bedroom 1 | Today we are happy to announce the completion of the current phase of refurbishments and pleased to welcome our Christmas visitors.
Very many thanks to all our staff and contractors for completing all this extensive work on time, within the short period of the 6 weeks available !

06/11/2004 - Coniston Village Annual Bonfire & Fireworks
 An earlier bonfire ! | Everyone is welcome to the annual bonfire on SATURDAY 6th NOVEMBER, at Coniston Sports & Social Club, fom 6.30 pm. There will be a Hot Pot Supper and there is a licensed bar - and there will be the usual party atmosphere ! Addmission is by donation, and the event is supported by Coniston Parish Council, ourselves and other local businesses
05/11/2004 - The Coppermines Mountain Cottages - Winter Refurbishment
 Phil, John & Joe lift the new oil tank into place. | Oil fired central heating is being installed by SIAS of Keighley, Yorkshire. The new system will give independantly controllable central heating for each cottage, and loads of hot water !

01/11/2004 - The Coppermines Mountain Cottages 2004 Winter Reburbishment
 "A new breakthrough" - by Mike Withers | Today 15 workmen arrived at the cottages to commence reburbishing all the existing bathrooms, and creating 5 new ones - some en-suite - and to install oil fired central heating
